Camp Simon's social skills groups promote learning and skills building in a small, supportive environment. The model is based on Irvin Yalom's therapeutic factors that:
- Promotes the helper-helper roles of each individual

- Instills a sense hope and optimism
- Imparts a sense of universality
- Provides valuable information
- Creates an altruistic environment
- Promotes socializing techniques
- Encourages positive, imitative behavior
- Promotes emotional learning
- Promotes interpersonal learning
Types of groups:
1. Social Skills group for kids
- Ages 5 to 12
- Session 1 - September to December
- Session 2 - January to June
2. Social Skills group for teens
- Ages 13 to 17 years
- Session 1 - September to December
- Session 2 - January to June
